The French leader then quickly waves to the camera and flashes a smile. Next, he walks off-screen only to return shortly with his wife Brigitte by his side. They then exit the aircraft, and Macron waves again to the cameras, and shakes a pilot’s hand.
As they descend the stairs, Brigitte gazes downward, with Macron looking ahead. Several social media posters expressed they thought the French Head of State was visibly upset. Such as this X user who highlighted his clenched fist during their walk.
Brigitte “slapped” Macron after viral cocaine post
The world leader was highlighted in another widespread social media post involving purported cocaine use. Footage of Emmanuel Macron, UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer, and German Chancellor Friedrich Merz has circulated online.
In the video, it appears the three government officials were caught off-guard by press while visiting Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelensky. As they sit down at a table, the three men appear to surreptitiously hide what many have said to be a baggie of cocaine. Furthemore, Merz looks like he is hiding a small spoon consistent with yayo usage.

As one X user highlights, Macron appears cover a baggie of Bolivian Marching Powder with his right hand whilst grinning to the cameras. Another user on the application uploaded an image of a Superstock photograph that shows a small gold spoon containing white powder.
The spoon is hovering near a nose in the photograph, indicating that its used for snorting blow. This image was juxtaposed with a similar looking item near Friedrich Merz’s hand. The apparatus resembles to the one Michelle Pfeiffer’s character, Elvira Hancock, uses in the film Scarface.
Furthermore, author and filmmaker Dinesh D’Souza offered up his own breakdown of the purported coke meeting. “Three men and a bag of white powder. Notice how Macron sneakily and deftly swipes it out of the camera’s view. The German chancellor Merx takes care of the spoon. Can’t have people thinking they are plotting strategy while doing cocaine together.”

Macron addresses wife Brigitte’s slap
Metro quoted the French Head of State’s response to the online hullabaloo over the “push or slap in the face.” The world leader and his wife were leaving a plane that had landed in Vietnam.
In response, Macron said that the moment was a “playful” one that was blown out of proportion. “We are horsing around and, really, joking with my wife. It becomes a sort of geo-planetary catastrophe.”
Indeed, this event has rekindled persistent online discussions about the nature of Emmanuel Macron’s relationship with Brigitte. Accusations of pedophilia have inundated social media from folks who’ve highlighted their 24 year age gap.
Some have stated Macron and Brigitte’s relationship began when the current French President was 15 years old. Others have stated Brigitte was married at the time and “groomed” Macron from a young age.
Consequently, there have been throngs of posts from folks online who claim the French leader is a victim of domestic abuse. Like this one person who penned: “I genuinely feel bad for Emmanuel Macron. Brigitte is a pedophile who groomed and abused him when he was just a child! I’m not saying he’s a good person but he clearly was and still is a victim and it’s very sad.”

Macron says Brigitte, cocaine drama overblown
Another X post shows translates video footage of Macron addressing the aforementioned social media scandals. According to him, the claims are mere collective “nonsense.”
In the referenced video below, Macron says that the three clips are indeed real. However, he explains that the way they’re presented on social media and the narratives surrounding them are false. Furthermore, he claims the timing of the video uploads are being utilized to create a narrative.
First, there’s the awkward finger grab moment he had with Turkish leader Recep Tayyip Erdogan. Then, there’s the cocaine clip, which he says was a “tissue” and not a ski pass. Lastly, the slap or face-mush which he says was a playful moment between husband and wife.
Ooh La La: Don’t believe your lying eyes, French President Macron admits the pimp-slap from his wife Brigitte is real but says the story’s all wrong. True story: She groomed him when he was a 15 y.o. student, left her family. In America she’d be in jail 🤷♂️pic.twitter.com/0Gil2onyK4

Macron says in the footage: “a video can be made to say a lot of nonsense. In these three videos, I picked up a tissue, shook someone’s hand, and just joked around with my wife, as we often do. For me, it’s been three weeks.”
Next, he discussed his travel schedule as the leader of France. “If you look at the French President’s international schedule from Kyiv to Tirana to Hanoi. There are people who have watched videos and think that I shared a bag of cocaine. That I had a one-on-one with a Turkish President. And that right now, I’m having a fight with my wife.”
Towards the end of this particular video, he categorically denies the claims. Moreover, he discredited the attention geared towards these posts, stating that folks should direct their attention to legitimate reporting. “None of that is true. Yet those three videos are real. So everyone needs to calm down and focus on the real news.”
