Joe Biden’s family recently announced he’s battling prostate cancer, and President Trump was quick to wish him well. On Truth Social the 45th and 47th US commander in chief expressed his regret upon learning of Biden’s condition.

He penned, “Melania and I are saddened to hear about Joe Biden’s recent medical diagnosis. We extend our warmest and best wishes to Jill and the family. And we wish Joe a fast and successful recovery.”

Trump and Musk press conference

Days later, Donald Trump fielded questions from reporters during a Friday, May 30th, 2025 press conference. During the 52-minute video, which was posted to the White House’s YouTube page, the President addressed numerous topics.

However there appears to be a large push towards comments that were purportedly made pertaining to Joe Biden’s recent health troubles. Such as this Yahoo! news article that states Donald Trump purportedly doesn’t feel “sorry” to hear about Joe Biden’s cancer battle.

The following clip from the press conference has been circulating social media. Throngs of people have attributed a snippet of the press conference as Trump’s response to Biden fighting prostate cancer.

However, the entirety of the press conference clearly shows the President wasn’t discussing Biden’s diagnosis at all. But rather the surge in violent crimes that took place in America from Jan. 2021 to Jan. 2025.

When asked about the surge in violent immigrants allowed to enter the US illegally during Biden’s presidency, Trump said the following. “Why would they [the Biden administration] do that? It’s the one thing I can’t figure out. “

Going on, Trump went on to state that he doesn’t believe it was Biden’s idea to allow illegal immigrants into the country. Earlier in the conference, the President replied to questions regarding the auto pen controversy. Trump speculated that the Biden administration’s usage of the quick-sign method would go down as one of the great scandals in American history.

Trump didn’t discredit Biden’s cancer battle

Additionally, Trump also spoke to the consequences of widespread illegal immigration during Biden’s tenure. He highlighted how numerous families were harmed both physically and financially from the move.

Moreover, violent criminals, like a “cop killer” along with sex offenders and pedophiles benefited from Biden administration pardons. Trump remarked that given Biden’s political history, he doesn’t believe the former President and Vice President authorized these initiatives.

Also, in the same press meeting, Trump highlighted how his discussions regarding Biden’s mental acuity were ultimately corroborated. He argued that Biden’s cognitive decline was apparent well before he ran in 2020. A fact that became evident during the 2024 Trump and Biden debate.

Additionally, Trump responded to questions regarding how he would know if someone used auto pen in his administration. Trump called the practice a “dangerous” one. And if anyone had authorized his signature without his approval or acknowledgment, they would face repercussions.

Trump’s full comments regarding Biden

The President then appeared to preempt any sympathy towards Biden for having his signature used without his knowledge.

“He’s been sort of a moderate person over his lifetime. Not a smart person, but a somewhat vicious person. I will say. If you feel sorry for him don’t feel so sorry cause he’s vicious. What he did with his political opponent and all of the people that he hurt. He hurt a lot of people, Biden. And so I really don’t feel sorry for him.”

Trump continued, “he wasn’t a person that would allow murderers to come into our country. He wasn’t a person that was in favor of transgender for anybody that wanted it. To take kids out of families etcetera, etcetera. So I just don’t understand why a thing like this, how a thing like this could have been allowed to happen. Very sad, it’s very sad for our country.”

Biden administration: “cancer” of crime brought to US

Yahoo reports in October of 2024 that “violent crime went up, not down under Biden.” Moreover, Newsweek reported that arrests of immigrants also increased during the 46th president’s stay in the White House.

In October of 2023, The Washington Examiner also reported that approximately 10 million people entered the US illegally while Biden was president. Furthermore, numerous reports of migrant arrest statistics circulated online throughout Biden’s four years in the oval office.

The New York Post reported in October of 2024 that 75% of all midtown NYC arrests were perpetrated by migrants. Despite their relatively small population size, migrants were purportedly responsible for the bulk of criminal arrests in one of the world’s largest cities.

Crimes such as numerous instances child rape, murder, and theft composed these statistics. Furthermore, the Post writes that the “3,219 migrants living in 48 city shelters…were arrested a total of 4,884 times.” The outlet went on to state that these arrests occurred between January 1, 2023 and October 31, 2024.

Other national stories, like when a Venezuelan crime gang allegedly took over a Colorado apartment complex, sparked outrage. Residents were purportedly left defenseless against criminals who entered America illegally and physically assaulted and robbed tenants.

Autopen pardons invalidated?

Newsweek published a March 2025 highlighting how the Trump administration has sought to invalidate these pardons. Axios published data comparing the pardons and commutations enacted by several presidents.

Biden set a record of 4,200 documented pardons and commutations according to the analytics firm. This includes a single day record of 1,500 commuted sentences that were carried out in a single day. Others have claimed that the number is much higher, and that the full figure of Biden pardons and commutations sits at approximately 8,000.

Outrage over the pardons fomented online due to the types of offenders who were offered clemency. Furthermore, the timing of the pardons also raised eyebrows. Many of these pardons were enacted after Biden displayed signs of senility during his globally broadcast live debate with Trump.

Moreover, Biden’s spell of absences from the public eye after the DNC handed the nomination to Kamala Harris also raised alarm. This led to speculation that Biden staffers were selling the pardons for cash prior to his leaving office, all without his knowledge.

Further ire was incited when infamous criminals had sentences commuted. Such as Pennsylvania Judge Michael Conahan who was found guilty of extending prison sentences of young offenders for cash. Reportedly, Conahan had worked with private prison systems who received funding for new inmates brought into facilities.

It’s said that Conahan took payments from these facilities to slap offenders with harsher sentences. That’s because the more prison time they served, the more money these facilities received. And Conahan purportedly pocketed money for these sentences.

Instances such as this, and others, are at the heart of the auto-pen controversy. And also, the nature of Trump’s remarks that are circulating social media.
